Engineering-led energy, built for Pakistan
Wattey Energy (formerly BijliBachao.pk) is a Pakistan-based solar + energy automation company, founded in 2018 in Lahore by Engr. Reyyan Niaz Khan — a UET Lahore electrical engineer and the pioneer of Digital Energy Auditing in Pakistan. We help businesses generate, manage, monitor, and protect their energy through engineering-led solar, intelligent automation, and digital energy platforms. Engineers, not salespeople. Wattey Energy was formerly BijliBachao.pk.

Why Wattey Energy exists
Most installers sell you a system. We stay accountable for it.
Install it right
End-to-end Solar EPC for homes, offices, factories, and agriculture — engineered by solar engineers for Pakistani grid realities, using reputable panel and inverter brands.
Monitor it, always
WattEY watches the electricity you consume in real time, and Solar Performance Cloud inspects every inverter string 24/7 — so hidden performance loss is caught early, not months later.
Protect it for years
Annual Maintenance Contracts, routine engineer visits, and continuous support keep your solar system — a 25-year investment — performing safely and at its best.
Our job isn’t just to sell you a system. It’s to keep it paying off for years.
Leadership
“We built Wattey Energy because Pakistani businesses deserve the same energy visibility that multinationals have had for decades.”
Engr. Reyyan Niaz Khan
Energy Systems Consultant · Founder, Wattey Energy
The founder’s background
From multinationals’ rigour to Pakistani rooftops
Reyyan Niaz Khan has spent 14+years inside Pakistan’s energy sector — first as an electrical engineer from UET Lahore, then as a consulting engineer working with multinationals operating in Pakistan, and since 2018 as the founder of Wattey Energy. He pioneered Digital Energy Auditing in Pakistan — replacing spot-measurement audits with multi-day, instrumented audits that rank waste by measured impact, not guesswork.
Every solution under the Wattey Energy roof — engineering-led solar, Annual Maintenance, Solar Performance Cloud, and WattEY — exists because he saw the same problems repeat across Pakistani facilities and set out to fix the category, not the symptom.

How we got here
Wattey Energydidn’t start as a software company. It started as a solar installer that refused to walk away from the systems it installed — and everything we build today answers a problem we first saw on a Pakistani rooftop.
Pre-2018
Engineering consulting in Pakistan
The founder consults for multinationals operating in Pakistan — energy management, engineering design, and electrical contracting — and builds the conviction that Pakistani businesses deserve the same energy visibility these firms take for granted.
2018
Wattey Energy founded in Lahore
The company launches with a dual mandate: install solar across Pakistani homes, offices, factories, and farms — and stay with every client for the life of the system through monitoring and maintenance.
2019–2025
Solar EPC across Pakistan + in-house software
Residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural solar installations across the country — and, from October 2025, Ali Ahmed (Head of Energy Systems & Product Engineering) designs and builds the company’s own digital energy platforms from first principles.
2026
WattEY & Solar Performance Cloud go live
WattEY brings real-time IoT electricity monitoring, and Solar Performance Cloud — the first 24/7 solar inspection platform of its kind in Pakistan — keeps every installation visible, while AMC keeps it performing.
What we do
We cover the full lifecycle of your energy investment — designing and building solar, then keeping it visible and accountable through software we engineer in-house.
Solar services
Solar Installations
Complete engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial, commercial, residential, and agricultural solar systems.
Learn moreAnnual Maintenance (AMC)
Ongoing maintenance, inspection, and support that protects your solar investment and keeps it performing year after year.

Energy software, built in-house
Most installers sell a system and walk away. We’re an engineering house that builds its own platforms — so the system stays watched, not just sold.
WattEY
The intelligent energy platform
Monitors the electricity you consume — across grid, generator, and solar — in real time, and automates the loads and switching around it. WattEY is an umbrella platform with a family of tools built on top of it.

Solar Performance Cloud
Independent solar inspection
Monitors what your solar generates — string by string, across every major inverter brand — as an independent layer with no reason to hide a problem. It inspects performance 24/7, not just at install.

Why engineering-led matters
Delivered by solar engineers
Every project is designed, installed, and supervised by experienced solar engineers — not just installers.
Quality and safety first
Engineering checks and quality inspections run throughout each project to ensure safe, reliable, professional installations.
Support beyond installation
Our platforms and maintenance contracts keep protecting your investment long after the system goes live.

About Wattey Energy — common questions
- Who founded Wattey Energy?
- Wattey Energy was founded by Engr. Reyyan Niaz Khan in 2018, in Lahore. He is an electrical engineer from UET Lahore, an energy systems consultant, and the pioneer of digital energy auditing in Pakistan.
- What does Wattey Energy do?
- We are an engineering-led solar and energy company for commercial and industrial owners across Pakistan. We run two platforms on one intelligence layer — Solar Performance Cloud, which independently inspects your solar down to each panel string, and WattEY, which gives full electricity visibility and control across grid, generator and solar — backed by solar engineers who act on what the platforms find, plus installation and maintenance.
- Where is Wattey Energy based?
- We are based in Lahore, Pakistan, and serve commercial and industrial businesses across Pakistan — Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi and beyond.
- Is Wattey Energy independent of the company that installed my solar?
- Yes. Our monitoring and inspection are independent of the installer whose work they grade, so there is no conflict of interest. We read every major inverter brand rather than one, work at the string level, and stay with you long after the installer has moved on.
- What makes Wattey Energy different?
- Three things: it is engineering-led — every first conversation is with someone who has installed the systems or built the software; it is independent and multi-brand, not tied to one manufacturer; and AI does the watching while solar engineers verify every finding before you hear about it. Solar Performance Cloud and WattEY sit on one data layer, so performance and energy cost are seen together.
- How do I get in touch or start working with Wattey Energy?
- Message us on WhatsApp or through the contact page. The fastest way to see the value is to onboard one real site — we bring it into the platform so you can see your own performance and energy picture before you commit.
